Metamorphic Technique

What is the Metamorphic Technique?
“I think I’ll have my feet done tonight” says 6 year old Sam thoughtfully to his mother.  Don’s comment at the end of a session is “It’s good, that Metamorphic.  I feel more positive.  There’s a healing going on, taking me in the right direction somehow.”
Both know, somewhere deep inside, that metamorphic technique enables changes.  It allows the person’s own life energy to begin the work of transformation, which happens unconsciously, automatically, naturally, and without effort.  They can simply release more of their potential.

Who?
It can safely be used by anyone, whatever age, well and strong, ill or dying, in conjunction with allopathic medicine or complementary therapies.  Pregnant women and their unborn child can benefit from this work.  Children love it.  Those with disabilities enjoy receiving sessions.

How?
The practitioner uses a light touch on the hands, head, and feet for the session, which for adults usually lasts about 60 minutes.  It is not necessary to take a case history.  A safe place of total acceptance is provided, where people can talk or quietly relax into their own space.

Why?
People are often drawn to this technique during periods of transition or difficulty – whether it be bereavement, illness, divorce, career change, or moving home.  Rather than focusing on the problems at these stressful times, they are simply able to deal with their life more effectively.

When?
Choose whenever suits you best.  You may want a session weekly, fortnightly, or when you feel tired, stuck, or uninspired.  Many people find it to be a relaxing, refreshing, re-energising experience.
