Zero Balancing is taught over two five day workshops - Basic I and Basic II. The long-term experience of those learning Zero Balancing is that both workshops are essential to get Zero Balancing skills to the standard where they become useful in practice, and to understand the potential of Zero Balancing work. By design, both workshops share a common curriculum.
In Basic I you are introduced to the theory and skills of Zero Balancing. You will gain a practical understanding that will allow you to explore the use of Zero Balancing with family and friends. It is recommended that you do this for several months before taking a workshop at Basic II level. At this second workshop you learn to embody more fully the skills that you have acquired, whilst at the same time refining the quality of your touch through feedback from the teacher and fellow students. As you develop a deeper understanding of the work it will allow you to use Zero Balancing successfully in your practice.
Further study through the Zero Balancing Certification Programme leads to a qualification that entitles you to work in your practice as a Certified Zero Balancer. Eligibility for Certification is dependent on the student possessing a current qualification in the field of professional health care. However, anyone can take a Zero Balancing Basic workshop, at the discretion of the teacher.
