Breast Health Qigong Workshop

A weekend workshop introducing Qigong Practices to help in the understanding prevention, and treatment of Breast Disease, from the Traditional Chinese perspective.

Stress Reduction Qigong class teaching  DaoYin exercises, which help to balance posture and improve body orientation and flexibility, as well as aiding in the development of deep relaxation and the capacity to maintain calm focus.

One simple definition of Qi :

Qi – breath, energy, blood.

Gong – work, benefit, practise.

The practise of these simple structured body movements, linked to your breath, place these healing tools directly into your own hands to benefit your health.

This material will be of interest to experienced practitioners, and those who wish to teach these techniques, as well as complete novices. In fact, anyone interested in learning how to optimise their mental, emotional and physical health will enjoy these workshops.

The workshops will emphasise both the learning and practise of these exercises, developing an understanding of Qi Gong which reflects both movement and orientation, and stillness and meditation.

By harmonising mind/breath and movement you will become able to channel vital energy throughout the body to regain your natural vitality. Qi Gong and it’s development into Tai Chi for Health, is accepted by the World Health Organisation for the beneficial treatment of conditions such as ME, MS, Diabetes, Arthritis, High Blood Pressure, Depression, Anxiety, and the general effects of stress and every day modern living.
