Yoga

Anyone can practice Yoga – you don’t need specialist equipment of clothes, just a desire for a healthier, more fulfilled life.  You are never too young.  You are never too old.  Be open minded and have a go!  You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

The classes are of mixed ability, beginners working alongside experienced students.

You will need a mat to work on, standard size is approximately 6’ x 2’6 but a blanket or sleeping bag will be fine.

Please bring with you a blanket for keeping warm when relaxing at the end of the session as the body temperature drops quite quickly when adopting the relaxation posture.

You will need to wear loose, comfortable clothing i.e. tracksuit, shorts, leggings, tee shirts and sweatshirts are the most comfortable.

Do not eat a large meal before coming to class as this may make you feel uncomfortable or nauseous.  Recommended times are:-

Large meal                  3 to 4 hrs before class

Light snack                  2 hrs before class

Beverages may be consumed up to 30 minutes before class

Tuesday           7.45 – 9.45 p.m.

Thursday          7.00 – 9.00 p.m.
